the phone is dead...long live the phone

OK, if you have been trying to reach me over the past 4 days or so, my phone is not working at the moment. (Sorry sis!) I will check messages from work or call me on my work phone. Send me an email if you need the number.

Oh, and the weather here is crap.

It's been melting down in G-town and our fine layer of feet has dwindled to inches (plus slush and glaze ice on the road.) The bison are moving down to munch on the bare grass, and a winter storm warning is in effect:

THROUGH OUR REGION LATER TODAY AND THROUGH TONIGHT. THIS SYSTEM

WILL PRODUCE INCREASING PERIODS OF MODERATE SNOW IN THE ABSAROKA

AND BEARTOOTH MOUNTAINS THROUGH TONIGHT. PEOPLE VENTURING INTO

THE HIGH COUNTRY TODAY SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR ADVERSE WINTER

WEATHER.

So we will have a nice layer of frozen crap for the new snow to sit on. Bad news for the ungulates.
