After being laid down with ANOTHER wicked cold (as were Christie and several others) and still having bouts of coughing and clogged ears...ok I'm done whining now.
Super-volunteer Kat was also laid out with the same cold earlier in the week, so with Ann on vacation and Steve gone for good, it was a skeleton crew this week in the office - Julie popped in for 2 days and was a HUGE help. A few emergency requests, no remote sensing software (the ERDAS license was down and computer support has no answers for us yet) it has been an interesting week of work. Kat, Em, and Heidi pitched in with an impromptu afternoon of lab cleaning and re-arranging which looks quite good, imho. I still have a big list of items to do so I'll be going in this weekend as well.
So much work, I'm behind on school and trying to catch up. Stuck on a math issue and I need to do a remedial math refresher in the trig/precalculus realm. It's been a LONG time since I took those classes! I picked up a good used textbook on my Phoenix trip and am lugging it around hoping that by osmosis the correct theory and formulae will soak in. Suppose I should crack the book and get to work.
Woke to 3 or so inches of fresh snow this morning. Ah, spring in Montana is here!
